In
a step to consolidate its manufacturing facilities,
Polytec started in 1990 to build a modern
textile mill of 740,000 square feet. It represents a
milestone development in the Group's history.
The
first phase of the project, comprising fabric knitting, dyeing and finishing facilities commenced
production in 1993.
The
second phase, which consists of a knitted garment
factory on an area of 240,000 square feet, has also
come into operation. The final phase is due to
operate by 2001.
Polytec
Manufacturing Group is a member of Polytec Group
which also involved in business activities such as Property
development in Hong Kong and Macau, investment in
Electricity supply in Macau and Securities Brokerage
in Hong Kong.
